Eligibility

The prize draw is open to anyone aged 18 or over.

For online entries, participants must have a valid postal address in the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland), or Ireland, as prizes can only be shipped to these regions.

Entrants from other countries may participate at the trade show but will only be eligible for on-site prizes handed out directly at the event.

Employees of the organiser and their relatives are not eligible to enter.

Entry into the prize draw

Participants can enter the prize draw in two ways:

On-site entry at Cake International 2025:
Visit DTM Print at Stand A35 in Birmingham from 31 October to 2 November 2025, say hello to our team and drop your name into the giveaway ballot drum at the booth.
Up to 10 Eddie Bears will be distributed on-site via a daily raffle.
Online entry via social media:
Post public content (photo, video, reel, or story) featuring Eddie, the Edible Ink Printer, tag @eddie_expert or TheEddieExpert, and use the hashtag #eddiebear25.
Each valid post counts as one entry, so multiple posts increase your chances of winning.
Posts must remain public until at least 9 November 2025 (one week after the show).

All information must be truthful and complete. Incorrect or misleading information may result in disqualification.

Prizes

A total of 30 Eddie Bears are available.
Up to 10 Bears will be distributed on-site during Cake International 2025 and handed directly to the winners.
The remaining Bears will be awarded through the social media draw, with prizes shipped to valid UK or Irish addresses only.

Each prize consists of one (1) Eddie Bear plush toy wearing the official Eddie T-shirt.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Additional small giveaways or discount surprises from CBG may be included at the organiser’s discretion.

Period of participation

The prize draw runs from 31 October 2025 (12:00 CET) until 9 November 2025 (23:59 CET).
Entries received after this date will not be considered.

Winner determination

Winners will be determined by random draw from all valid entries:

On-site winners will be drawn daily during Cake International 2025.
Social media winners will be drawn within 7 days after the end of the show.

All winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram or Facebook or email.
If a winner does not respond within 7 days after notification, their claim to the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected.

Prizes will be shipped within 1–3 weeks after the winner has confirmed their delivery address.

Privacy policy

Personal data collected in connection with the prize draw will be used exclusively for the purpose of administering the giveaway and contacting the winners.

DTM Print GmbH will process this data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
At the end of the prize draw, all data will be deleted unless a legal obligation requires its retention.

Exclusion from the prize draw

The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms and conditions, provides false information, or attempts to manipulate the prize draw.
DTM Print GmbH also reserves the right to amend or terminate the prize draw for good cause.

Liability

The organiser is not liable for any technical issues that may affect participation in the prize draw.
DTM Print GmbH shall only be liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

Miscellaneous

Legal recourse is excluded.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
